THE CFC 2025 QUOTE
FILMMAKING PERIOD - May 21 - June 4
Produce your film inspired by the quote revealed at the Kickoff party. Connect and communicate using our Discord server, our Facebook Forum, or through the staff of the CFC.

SHOWCASE SCREENING - June 27
This year, we will be screening films in the iconic Samuel Goldwyn Theater – that’s right – the Oscars Theater. That means we will not be in Hollywood; we are upgrading to Beverly Hills.

A One-of-a-Kind Film Competition
The CFC is a two week filmmaking challenge–with a twist!
The CFC is a two week filmmaking challenge–with a twist!
Work together with other filmmakers and make your own short film in two weeks. Are you a writer in search of a shooter? An editor looking for a director? Don’t worry–we help you find the people you need to execute your vision! Or, you're welcome to work with your own crew.
After we release the Theme Quote at the Kickoff Party in LA, you'll have two weeks to shoot your film while you help other filmmakers and other filmmakers help you. We'll then screen the CFC's strongest entries to a packed house of industry professionals and our esteemed judges. After the screening, we announce the winners and hand out over $20,000 in cash and prizes!
The in-person events are in LA, but you do not have to be in LA to participate.
